Pharmacy professor Kim Coley has been appointed chair of the editorial board for the Pennsylvania Pharmacists Association’s Pennsylvania Pharmacist publication. The Pennsylvania Pharmacist is a peer-reviewed publication that includes feature articles; legislative, legal and regulatory information; industry trends; association information; and peer-reviewed articles on pertinent pharmacy subjects. Coley is a faculty member in the pharmacy and therapeutics department.
Jeff Inman, associate dean of faculty and research in the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, has been named editor in chief of Journal of Consumer Research, a highly coveted editorial board leadership position in business schools, and the first time any Katz faculty member has held it. The journal includes empirical, theoretical, and methodological articles, spanning fields such as psychology, marketing, sociology, economics, healthcare, and anthropology.
Postdoctoral scholar in psychiatry Heather Joseph has been selected for a fellowship award in Child and Adolescent ADHD by the Klingenstein Third Generation Foundation. The awards are given to outstanding postdoctoral researchers in the United States who have demonstrated independent research ability and who are planning a career in research related to child and adolescent psychiatry or developmental psychopathology. The goal of the fellowship is to fund research that provides a direct and tangible benefit to children and their families, and to help postdoctoral researchers take the next step on their career path to becoming an independent scientist. Joseph’s current research examines the course and prognosis of ADHD with a focus on associated parental factors.
