Experience the World Auction, Dinner Benefit
The University of Pittsburgh’s Division of Student Affairs will host the Experience the World Showcase Auction and Dinner on April 18 to support PittAdvantage, a program that provides grants to eligible students for expenses associated with experiential-learning opportunities around the world.
The dinner and auction will be held in the William Pitt Union Assembly Room from 6:30 to 10 p.m. Tickets, which help to support the program, are $125 each and must be reserved by April 3. Reservations can be made online at www.pittadvantage.pitt.edu.
Students who have completed the University’s Outside the Classroom Curriculum are eligible to receive a PittAdvantage grant of as much as $1,500 to cover expenses associated with study abroad trips, internships, community service projects, and other experiences. Twenty-five students received grants last summer.
The event will feature items for bidding, student group performances, and testimonials from several students who received PittAdvantage grants in prior years.
