Indian Nationality Room
The University of Pittsburgh’s Indian Nationality Room Committee organized an Aug. 16 celebration of India’s 62nd year of independence. The day featured a parade around the Cathedral of Learning, followed by a flag hoisting and festival in the Cathedral’s Commons Room. Pitt Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg delivered welcoming remarks.
