Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg was in the Oakland Zoo—one of the most daunting student cheering sections in college basketball—during the March 3 men’s basketball game, in which Pitt played the North Carolina State Wolfpack. For Nordenberg, who steps down as chancellor on Aug. 1, the event marked his final home basketball game as Pitt’s top leader.
