Newsmaker: Pitt Make a Difference Day
More than 3,000 Pitt students fanned out across Pittsburgh to volunteer on 63 projects in connection with the Oct. 20 Pitt Make a Difference Day.

(Top right) Projects ranged from picking up litter and repainting public buildings to pampering residents of a Squirrel Hill nursing home with manicures. It was a true team effort.
