Nominations Sought for Chancellor's Award for Staff Excellence in Service to the University 2012
Nominations are being solicited for this University-wide award to recognize staff members who have made outstanding contributions to the University. This award is given annually to part-time or full-time staff members who have been employed at the University for a minimum of five years. Nominations can be made by individuals, groups, students, or alumni. Self-nominations are allowed.
If you know of a staff member whose work demonstrates a consistent pattern of extraordinary dedication to the University, above and beyond the responsibilities of the nominee’s position, please visit www.hr.pitt.edu/chancellors-award to review the nomination guidelines and complete the online nomination form. The nomination will be reviewed to confirm that the nominee is eligible, after which the nominee, nominee’s supervisor, and nominator will receive notice of the nomination along with a request for additional information.
The nomination deadline is Monday, November 14, 2011.
A committee appointed by the Chancellor and chaired by Jane W. Thompson will review the nominations and materials submitted and will select up to five people to be honored. For more information, please visit
