Pitt Make a Difference Day
More than 3,000 students participated in Pitt’s 7th annual Pitt Make a Difference Day on Oct. 18. Student crews fanned out across the city, cleaning up local neighborhoods, stocking supplies at food banks, planting trees and gardens, and doing numerous other activities. Service projects were completed for 115 of Pitt’s community partners. The University’s Student Government Board launched Pitt Make a Difference Day in 2007. It is now run by PittServes within the University’s Division of Student Affairs.
