Scene: Artful Reading
The opening reception for the Studio Arts Student Exhibition, held April 2 at the Frick Fine Arts Building’s University Art Gallery, attracted Anna Moyer (left), an artist and Pitt senior majoring in architectural studies, and Theresa Baughman, a senior majoring in studio arts. Both women have artwork in the exhibition, which runs through April 26. They are looking at books made by students in a course called The Book as Art, taught by both the Department of English’s Creative Writing Program and the Department of Studio Arts.
