Scene: Shooting Hoops with the Steelers
Antonio Brown, wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers, takes a break during a March 19 charity basketball game at Pitt’s Fitzgerald Field House. Fourteen Pitt students played a team of Steelers—including Le’Veon Bell and Derek Moye—to raise money for the University’s Pitt Advantage Grant program, which is open to Pitt students who have completed the Outside the Classroom Curriculum. The program provides grants of $1,500 per student for expenses associated with experiential-learning opportunities. An estimated 500 people watched the Steelers beat the Pitt team, 56-44.
