Thornburgh Disability Lecture Nov. 4
Andrew J. Imparato, president and CEO of the American Association of People With Disabilities, will present a lecture as part of the 2010 Thornburgh Family Lecture Series in Disability Law and Policy at 1 p.m., Nov. 4, Ballroom B, University Club. An accomplished attorney with bipolar disorder, Imparato worked with a coalition of more than 200 disability, employer, civil rights, and faith-based groups to guide the political strategy that led to the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments Act in 2008. The Lecture Series is sponsored by the Dick Thornburgh Forum for Law and Public Policy.
