A Welcome for New Pitt Law Dean
Members of the Pitt community, as well as lawyers, judges, city and county officials, and other community leaders, welcomed School of Law Dean William M. Carter Jr. during a Sept. 13 reception at the Highland Park home of Larry Davis, the University’s Donald M. Henderson Professor and dean of the School of Social Work. Carter, widely respected for his scholarship in constitutional law, international human rights law, and social justice issues, assumed his Pitt deanship on July 1.
